As an aspiring rugby player I struggled with resilience and scratching error. However I thought the methods and exercises in consultations helped a lot for me to focus on the important tasks to excel in sport!
Giving the girls the visualization of what they could achieve helps them with their confidence and belief that they can do it. Confidence is huge for these young ladies and plays a huge part on their ability to perform at a high level. This was shown when, after giving up our only goal of the National Championships, in the 17th minute of extra time (with 3 minutes left) our Center Back attacked a corner and equalized with a minute to go. She had visualized herself scoring and you helped give her the confidence she needed to believe she could.
The team enjoyed learning a few new ways to deal with anxiety and came away from the experience with more knowledge than before.
